Contributions Wanted

{find exhibits by purpose}
This museum has been established mainly to record the developments through the decades of the contributions to microwave communications that have been made by the amateur radio community.
As webmaster and curator, all donations should be sent to me. My email address is allan{at}r-type.org. This is going to be a virtual museum and I cannot take posession of vintage equipment. Microwave valves are welcome as they can form part of The National Valve Museum.
At the Crawley Round Table in September 2007 we will be photographing equipment and artifacts that are brought along. Any equipment brought for photographing should be accompanied by a short write-up. Ideally this write-up should be emailed as a .txt file suitable for editing with Wordpad. This article text needs to give not only a description of the item and possibly its place in microwave developments, but also details of age, band, owner's callsign, function of the equipment and the most significant dimensions so the users of the museum can get a feel for the scale.
Any technical articles that can be posted to me (QTHR) will be returned either by post or at Crawley or Martlesham. Items of historical interest such as photographs of histric events or operating etc. can be sent or emailed to me.
The present site has a small collection of items and articles that I have assembled to give members a feel for the planned site. Any suggestions as to possible improvements are most welcome.
